Before his success this year, Peterhansel won six motorbike events and three four-wheel events at the Dakar Rally since first entering in 1988. Taking lead in the 2012 event on day three, he was able to maintain the top spot until the end of the rally.
The Rolling Stones once said (more like sang), “American girls want everything in the world you could possibly imagine.” But we think the same could be said of American boys, especially when it comes to cars, and particularly when it comes to MINI Coopers.
Well, rest easy, boys – there’s a rumor afloat. Word is a diesel-powered MINI is on its way to America, and it’ll be everything you could possibly imagine from a MINI diesel. Though you may have to wait it out until 2013, when this vehicle is said to hit American streets, we at Nick Alexander MINI are pretty sure it will be worth every moment of your patience.
